At The Bottom Of The Canyon

This CG is at the bottom of the Grand Canyon next to the Colorado river. It’s a 6-7 mile hike down to it with over a 5000’ elevation change. It has flush toilets and obviously is a tent only CG. Hiking down the views of the canyon amazing and constantly changing. Once you’re at the bottom you quickly realize all the great views are from the top and now you’re standing in a deep canyon looking up at the canyon walls. Hiking out, all the views are to your back so stopping a lot to look is a must. Great to do once.
