After a couple of months boondocking in the desert, it feels amazing to be surrounded by trees! And Found the perfect spot (#8) for solar gain all day. (No electric sites that I saw—water hydrants distributed around loops). Golden Age Passport accepted for 50% discount. Only downside, a lot of campsites in the Elk loop back onto or are adjacent to a very busy highway. Not bad at night though. Sites are very well designed with table and firepit with grill discretely hidden in the woods. And host rakes them after campers leave!! Most sites I looked at provide a very level surface to make leveling camper a breeze. Truly a gem.

This is a nice camp, and is open all year. They snowplow the roads in winter, but they close the dump station and showers. Water and restrooms are still available. The middle loop is tents only, but is closed this winter.

Okay
Close to town. Can hear traffic. Need to pay extra for dumping and shower. Nice flush toilets and pretty clean.

Spent a week there, nice clean place, clean restrooms and showers. No hook ups, very private campsites lots of big trees. Showers three bucks for five minutes . Rv dump pad ten bucks. Close to town but didn't feel like it. I'll go there again.

Horses
Awesome horse facility. Each horse site has 2 corrals. Water is close by but not at each individual site. Was very quiet the night I stayed. Warm shower.
