Worst Campground Ever

We reserved a site because we had a wedding in the area. The reservation had no site number on it. When we arrived, the office was closed with a note to call Roy. I called twice waiting a few minutes between calls, and just got voicemail. I asked around the park and nobody knew where Roy was. I found an empty site and set camp. About the time I was done setting up Roy shows up and tells me I have to move. I explained and even showed him my reservation had no site number on it, and moving would make us late but he made us move anyway. The site he told us to go to had dog poop all over it, old and new. Very small site, water was OK for flushing black tank but that was about it. Lake is more like a swamp. Ramp to swamp was closed due to disrepair and had been for quite some time. And to finish the weekend off, the first site I set up on sat empty all weekend.

Quiet Time

Small, quiet, nicely maintained park, restrooms and grounds were kept very clean. The staff was very attentive to the park needs. There are seasonal campers in the park, everyone there was nice and friendly. Overall we had a good weekend, definitely would go back again.

The staff was very friendly, clean campground, hot showers. We had a good time here, nice atmosphere.
