Fantastic USFS Campground

As of July 2025…. *10 first come, first serve semi-secluded campsites. *No fee to stay here. *The camp host (Jim) is extremely friendly and accommodating; does a wonderful job keeping the area free of garbage and debris. *Fresh water from a hand pump is available. *Pit toilets are available. *No dumpsters or dump stations. This is a great campground located between Philipsburg and Anaconda. For now, the USFS has kept this location FEE FREE. There are 10 established campsites, each with a fire ring and picnic table. Several of the sites are adjacent to Flint Creek. I camp at a lot of USFS campgrounds, this one is among the best.

At least one site fits our 30 ft trailer without disconnecting. It's nice, has moose, a small Creek and one toilet. There are 10 campsites and day use areas. No water or trash service, but no fee either in 2022.

Closed for renovation when we passed thru the area (July 2018)
