Fantastic USFS Campground
As of July 2025….
*10 first come, first serve semi-secluded campsites.
*No fee to stay here.
*The camp host (Jim) is extremely friendly and accommodating; does a wonderful job keeping the area free of garbage and debris.
*Fresh water from a hand pump is available.
*Pit toilets are available.
*No dumpsters or dump stations.
This is a great campground located between Philipsburg and Anaconda. For now, the USFS has kept this location FEE FREE. There are 10 established campsites, each with a fire ring and picnic table. Several of the sites are adjacent to Flint Creek.
I camp at a lot of USFS campgrounds, this one is among the best.

Nice
At least one site fits our 30 ft trailer without disconnecting. It's nice, has moose, a small Creek and one toilet. There are 10 campsites and day use areas. No water or trash service, but no fee either in 2022.
