Clean And Uninhabited
We stayed here for a weekday night in August and, except for a couple of long-term parked RVs with no one there, we were the ONLY campers in the park. It’s nice and well-kept, clean areas, picnic shelter for day use, and informational signs. A mile off of Hwy 26, it’s quiet with few cars going by; however, during logging season, log trucks go by every few minutes in the early morning hours. The only other sounds were cows mooing on the nearby hills. No hookups—but potable water available. No AT&T cell service.

This is a new state park and the trees are not mature yet so the sites are unshaded. Scenery is quite beautiful. Nice hiking trails and trout fishing.
