We stayed from Sunday through Wednesday, and it was generally quiet during the week. On Sunday, the beautiful lake was lively with speedboats, kayaks, and fishing boats. However, by Monday through Wednesday, it was nearly empty. Peaceful and serene. The campsites offer a good amount of privacy, though many are not level, so plan accordingly. A newly built, spacious shower house is available and kept very clean, which is a nice bonus for those in need.
There are a few small towns nearby worth exploring. Darlington, for example, has a public swimming pool and a charming downtown area. The region is Amish country, so be mindful while driving. They sell fresh eggs and vegetables, just not on Sundays. Overall, it’s a great spot to visit and unwind.

Nice Park, Nice Views
No matter how you get here, it is going to take you down some winding narrow roads.
The campground and facilities are old but in reasonable condition. The lake and the views are awesome, so worth coming.
